Optimized Web Site Construction
Payment and Service terms:
- All prices are in Canadian Dollars [1] and are subject to GST [2]
- Payment of 50% is required in advance at time of order and the remaining 50% is payable in 30 days.
- This is not a guaranteed service for your search engine positioning, however your satisfaction is our goal (see our mission statement) and we are confident that you will achieve very high rankings with this service.
- Ahead of the Web Marketing Services will facilitate the domain registration and hosting as a value-added service to our clients. We are bundling these services with our own and will undertake the registration and hosting process on your behalf, but we do not actually provide the registration or hosting ourselves. Although we recommend the registrar and hosting companies (they are a well-respected local Vancouver firm) and have always found them to be reliable, we cannot and do not warrant or otherwise make guarantees on their behalf. Once your site is registered and hosted you will have a 12-month prepaid service agreement with them. Once we have completed construction of your web site you will be responsible for communication and management of those agreements. Ahead of the Web will not maintain an ongoing role in your relationship with those third parties.
To receive this great rate you must provide us with:
- your desired domain name (must be an available domain) and all necessary contact information to allow us to register the name for you. (.com, .org, .net and .info domains only. All .ca and .ws names require an additional surcharge of $10 due to different registration fee structures)
- your site's content in electronic format, clearly showing the number of pages and which content goes on which page. If we have to type it we charge our regular hourly rate of $75.
- provide us with your images or graphic logos (Package includes one logo and one other graphic per page (total 2 graphics per page) - additional graphics can be added for $10 each occurrence)
- provide us with your choice of keywords, page titles and your own clearly written site description (we'll happily provide you with guidelines and advice for choosing effectively)
Some limitations to be aware of:
Because of the exceptionally low price for this extraordinary package, there will be some reasonable limitations to the scope of service you should expect. Your web site will have a professional business-style appearance, however, for this low price we cannot include advanced features such as shopping carts, forms, flash or other interactive elements.
e-Commerce enabled sites that use PayPal™ can be created with this package as long as the number of items available for purchase online is less than 10. Pictures of products can be included at no extra charge if they are used on this page instead of on the other pages in the site. Additional instances of pictures will be charged $10 each as described above.
Your site will be High Quality and Professionally text-based (similar to this site which is also text-based). Most importantly, it will be optimized for the search engines. If you need other more advanced features, we can certainly provide those if you wish, but not for this price. Please contact us for a customized quote if you have specific needs. However, if you're truly a start-up, you're probably better to go with this package now and add other features in the future after the site has begun to generate traffic.
Lastly, you can provide creative input in terms of colour schemes and location of navigation bars (left side, right side or top), but for this special price we cannot provide a consultative design development process. Once we have completed the initial design you will review it and you will be entitled to request one detailed list of revisions as you might require. Unfortunately we cannot perform more than two sets of revisions, so please try to ensure that your site content is essentially complete before you submit it.
